Who we are and what these terms cover

Face Flapper (the "game") is made by Warped Technologies LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover the game, this website (faceflapper.com) and the links the game makes, such as Face-off invites and friend challenges. By playing the game or using this site, you agree to them. The game is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms add to it. If the two ever conflict, Apple's agreement wins for what it covers.

Your faces and photos

• Only use photos of yourself, or of people (and pets) who are happy for you to use them. If someone is under 18, ask their parent or guardian first.
• Do not use photos that are hateful, sexual, violent, or meant to bully or embarrass someone.
• Your photos and crash sounds stay on your iPhone. In an online Face-off, a small copy of the face you fly is shown to the players in that match, as our Privacy Policy explains. You are responsible for what you put in the game.

Playing online

• Online play uses Apple's Game Center and its rules. Be a good sport: no cheating, no tampering with the game or our servers, and no harassing other players.
• If someone misuses the game, tell us at admin@warpedtechnologies.io. We may limit or end online features for anyone who breaks these terms.
• Online play, leaderboards and daily worlds depend on the internet and on services we do not control. They may change or be unavailable at times.

Sharing

When you share a crash video, a photo strip or a challenge link, you choose where it goes: Messages, Instagram, TikTok or anywhere else. Those apps have their own terms and privacy policies, and what you post there is up to you. Only share what shows people who are happy to be shared. Prizes in any challenge we run are for the play itself; we never reward sharing, and we pick winners ourselves.

The Full Game, the free trial and ads

• The Full Game is an optional one-time purchase, made and handled by Apple under its own terms. It works with Family Sharing and can be restored on your devices with Restore Purchases.
• The free 7-day trial costs nothing and ends by itself. Nothing is charged when it ends.
• Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Ads only appear when you choose to watch one after a crash. They come from Google, under Google's terms.

Ours and yours

The game, its art, sounds, music, code and the names Face Flapper™ and Warped Technologies belong to us. You may share videos and pictures of your own play anywhere you like, including in your own videos and streams. Do not copy, sell or redistribute the game itself.

Children

Face Flapper is not made for children under 13. Kid mode is a gentler way to fly, set up by a parent on their own iPhone, and it never goes online. A parent or guardian is responsible for a child's use of the game.

No guarantees

We work hard to make Face Flapper fun and reliable, but the game and this site are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Face controls read your face with your iPhone's camera and may not work for every face, in every light or on every iPhone; tapping always works. Play somewhere safe, take breaks, and never play while driving or walking somewhere you need to watch.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the game in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here takes away rights you have by law.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and its date before the version of the game that needs the change is released. If you keep playing after that, the new terms apply.
